Our teachers and staff are committed to providing the best possible education for our students. PTA supports these efforts, and over the years, has built a strong partnership with the common goal of providing our children with an outstanding education.
Our PTA supports numerous programs with volunteer hours and money: howdy coffee, campus tour, back to school picnic, membership, classroom representatives & volunteers, reflections, dine out nights, meet the master art, primary music, caldecott & newbery reading clubs, family movie night, santa secret shop, red ribbon, yellow ribbon, science & art project fair, dinner/silent auction, carnival, educational assemblies, staff appreciation, emergency preparedness, spirit wear, yearbook, volunteer opportunities, and much more!

Our school is strengthened by the ongoing support of parents, teachers, and staff dedicated to making the learning environment the best it can be. An hour, a day, a school year ... any level of commitment you are able to make will strengthen our school. Our learning community gains so much from every family who volunteers! The way to start is to Join the PTA! Each membership positively impacts ALL kids through advocacy at local, state, and national levels.

Our school relies on the PTA to provide financial resources to continue to provide enriching programs, and support services not funded by tax dollars. We need you to support our efforts, and remember that your contribution is tax deductible. Our goal is 100% participation, support the education of our children at Monte Vista.

. In its more than 40 year history, the Reflections program has encouraged millions of students across the nation to explore their artistic talents. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students are encouraged to submit works of art in the areas of Dance choreography, Film production, Literature, Musical composition, Photography, and Visual arts.
